According to the figure of the Vietnam's Trade Office in Phnom Penh, the two-way trade volume was valued at 1.96 billion U.S. dollars in the first seven months of 2012, a 23 percent rise compared with the same period a year ago. On the investment side, Vietnam has invested 1.28 billion U.S. dollars in Cambodia from 1994 to July 2012, according to a record of the Council for the Development of Cambodia. The figure did not include Vietnamese investment in the country's banking and finance sectors. |
